Lee Mulligan, instructor with Advance Drive Training Centre was presented with the prestigious ‘Leading Lights in Road Safety Award’ for ‘Approved Driving Instructor of the Year 2019’ on Wednesday 11th December 2019 in Croke Park, Dublin. Lee was presented with the award by Chairperson of the Road Safety Authority (RSA) Ms. Liz O’Donnell and scooped the Nationwide Award for his recognition and contribution to road safety.

Lee is a registered ADI since July 2009 and was nominated in the ‘Leading Lights’ Awards for the Bus category and provides driver training in Cars, Trucks and Buses along with delivering Driver CPC Periodic Training for professional drivers & ADI training for new instructors.

The ‘Leading Lights in Road Safety’ Awards were introduced in 2008 to celebrate the outstanding efforts of people across Ireland to make roads safer for everyone. The awards provide a special opportunity for members of the public to honor the contribution of exceptional people who promote road safety in their communities.

2019 is the forth year instructors at Advance Drive, Galway have been presented with an award, winning in 2013, 2014 & 2017.
