I cannot reccomend Advance Drive enough for new drivers! After failing the test three times with other instructors I had lost all confidence in my driving abilities. And became a very nervous driver. I then went to Advance Drive where Noel became my new instructor. Noel changed my whole perspective on driving and the nerves went away. He's so patient and understanding and I found the lessons to be fun and enjoyable in comparison to other driving schools in Galway. 10/10 for Noel & Advanced drive, could not reccomend enough! Passed my D class bus licence test this week. I 'm convinced that it was down to the very professional team of people at Advanced Drive in Galway that I did so well in every aspect of the training. The training is both relaxed and very professional in the delivery. You find your self all of a sudden in about week 5 or 6 of the 10 week course having a very good understanding of what is required as a professional bus driver. Even more surprising you will be driving a D class Bus around Galway and Oranmore like it was your daily drive. That really impressed me! I passed my truck C test yesterday. I never drove a truck before and did seven lessons with Advance Drive instructor PJ Dunne. PJ’s tuition was 10/10, excellent, extremely professional. He is very personable and puts you at ease. His extensive experience is priceless, and he weighs your capabilities instantly and focuses on your weaknesses. He also drills you on the headline Health and safety and has his easy-to-follow notations to program you in good practice. The test is difficult, I was pushed on every element during the test. The lessons got rid of my years of ‘bad habits’ driving a jeep. During the test, PJ’s advice loud in my head at every junction, tight corner squeezed road due to road works, looking ahead to preempt potential hazards all came together the day of the test. When the examiner spoke to me briefly after the test, she said – ‘You must have been driving a truck for a while.’ That is a testimony to how good Advance Drive is and Instructor PJ Dunne. I highly recommend Advance drive for any of your driving lessons. In house Aoife, who had to account for my few cancellations, is very professional, friendly, and polite. An extremely efficient, professional business. Lessons are essential to pass this test and I highly recommend Advance Drive-An effective team. Peter

I would highly recommend advance drive. I done the rigid, artic, and the bus with the lads and flew thru all the tests with there help. Between the good gear that they have and the great instructors it's no wonder they have a high pass rate!

Advance drive are a great company, highly recommend. Every aspect of their service is flawless from start to finish, office staff extremely helpful and great at what they do. Instructors are second to none, I have previously passed the rigid truck with them and passed my CE artic today. Dezzie is a brilliant instructor. Thanks for everything lads.

I would like to take this oppertunity to thank Philip and all the gang at Advance Drive. I had Noel as my instructor, he was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic with the rules of the road, reading the road, correct road position and so on. From a complete novice in an artic truck to passing it first time was all down to his excellent teaching and patience. Thank God he had a lot of patience ..... I would highly recommend Noel as an instructor and Advance as a great place to learn how to drive. From the girls at receiption to all the instructors, they could'nt be nicer. Thanks again Noel .....top man.

I had a great experience with Advance Drive in my training for the 'D' licence. The course was intense and took me a little longer than expected (that's down to me and not the instructor!) but I passed my test first time and the quality of Lee's instruction came through for me. He was very patient and professional and always gave me the encouragement to persevere. I couldn't recommend Lee, Pat and the office team more - thanks lads!!

I can't recommend Advance Drive any higher, great staff and a great place to learn how to drive. I done the bus driver course and had Dezzie as my instructor, I both learned and enjoyed my time with Dezzie. If you are thinking of learning to drive a bus, truck or car then this is the place for you.
