I have just completed my "C" Truck Licence and passed on the first attempt, thanks to PJ Dunne who is a phenomenal Truck Driving Instructor: Also I had great support and assistance in preparing for my CPC practical. The structure of the lessons are second to none. I really like the fact that I had a pre test hour before my test on the day, which prepared me well and settled my nerves ! I just completed a 10 week GRETB bus drivers course. The course was managed and run by Advance Drive Galway . The course included ten two hour lessons. CPC training,first aid responders course and lifting and manual handling course. Advance Drive are a very professional organisation. I am delighted to have passed my D bus test on the first attempt. I was lucky enough to have 2 different instructors - Noel and Gerry. I feel both instructors had a different style of teaching and I definitely learned different things from each of them. They were both very thorough in making sure I was ready for the test and confident in the test procedure. The office staff are exceptional. They are accommodating and considerate. They know their job and they were great to call me and offer me an extra lesson before my test, when a slot became available. Today, at the age of 43, I at last passed my driving test; doing so, on my first attempt. After years of hesitancy, and a belief I wasn't capable of driving well, the skills, ability and professionalism exhibited by my driving instructor - Noel Nee, at all times ensured that I was more than capable and ready to achieve my full category B driving license. In no small way, it was the enthusiasm, patience, exacting dedication to excellence, humility, and his earnest sense of putting the learner first that allowed me advance with confidence to the position of executing my test, and further passing with a confidence I thought I did not own. Since my initial lesson with Noel, I was always greeted with optimism, calm, and a capacity to teach that at all times remained with me, and will, I believe, remain with me as I begin driving as a novice licensee. Again, since meeting Noel, I always felt listened to, treated as an equal, and spoken to in a manner that allowed me learn, returning each time with the knowledge I was growing in awareness, and further honing the skills necessary to become a competent driver. Here, his advice and willingness to go above and beyond in terms of ensuring I understood, while also instilling a belief I was more than capable, all indelibly paved the way to my passing the test in a successful manner. Today, therefore, it is without hesitation that I write this testimonial in the hope that Noel is somehow given the credit he richly deserves, and, from here, would gladly recommend him as an instructor to any and all, in particular those lacking the confidence in their own abilities. He remains an exceptionally good teacher exacting all those attributes required to allow those he tutors to excel as they should. In turn, I also wish to acknowledge the professionalism and understanding I was at all times met with by the staff at Advance Drive, in particular Aoife and Emma, who always met me with warmth, kindness, humour, and patience, in what has been an unprecedented and drawn out year. Just completed and passed my D licence with advance drive. I had vincent as my instructor. From the get go the service he put you at ease and explained everything in full. Made you laugh and made the lessons and enjoyable experience. Fun to one side. He was extremely informative and professional i was left with no doubt i was going to pass. I went into the test confident but grounded also by vincent. Highly recommend advance. Top top class experience.

Passed Rigid Test first time thanks to Lee a very patient man and a great teacher. A top class service all round within Advance from the Admin right up to the Instructors will go above and beyond to help you out and you cant ask for much more a top class outfit.

I just passed my artic with Noel (and Lee for final lesson) It’s easy to see why advance are so highly rated, top class all round, from the girls in the office making booking lessons and tests a breeze to the excellent instructor's, the knowledge and experience they have made me feel at ease from the very first lesson to the pre test. I have passed all the categories on the licence first time with advance drive and they are the only driving school I would ever recommend to anyone. Keep up the good work guys and thanks again

Noel was patient and prudent. He instructed me well. I was low on confidence when it came to driving, but within the first few classes, I was comfortable enough with him to overcome that fear. I highly recommend him as an instructor because he starts from the basics and covers all the necessary detail to become a good driver.
