I can't speak highly enough of the team at Advance Drive, I passed the HGV rigid first time with the help of Vincent who was the instructor. He was excellent, very professional, understanding and skillful with the patience of a saint. Philip and Gerry were excellent, they were very helpful and went out of their way to to accomodate me. I went to Advanced drive after they were recommended by a friend. I have now passed 2 tests with them (bus and truck) and can't praise them enough. Phillip and Mike are both very patient and encouraging during the learning process. During each pre-test lesson they re-assured me and gave me ways to deal with the test nerves. My driving lessons were disrupted by the recent health crisis, but once I joined up with Advance Drive and my instructor Martin, I flew through my remaining EDT's. Martin was a fantastic instructor and made me feel very comfortable getting back to driving as I was quite nervous. I passed my driving test first time with the help of Vas who is an excellent instructor. He is very calm and encouraging! Perfect instructor for a nervous driver! Couldn't reccomend him enough! He goes above and beyond to facilitate his students!

I just passed my Category D (Bus) with Advance Drive. Lee was excellent with providing me with enough knowledge needed to be a safe and competent road user (the very skills needed to pass the driving test). By test day, I could see my confidence soaring comparing the first day I got behind the wheel. I can honestly say I never went into a driving test as comfortable, relaxed and confident as I did today, all thanks to Lee's professionalism and experience.

Passed my Jeep and Trailer test with my instructor Noel. From start to finish Noel was brilliant, clear instructions and very good knowledge of all aspects of driving with a trailer. I would like to thank Noel for all his time and hard work. Also the girls in the office were great and they kept in touch with me during the long wait for my test and always sent timely reminders of upcoming lessons. Never drove a Category D vehicle before 2023. Six lessons later I passed the test. So, many thanks to PJ & Noel, along with the the inhouse team. Now it is up to me to hone the skills I've learned and continue to improve day by day.

From my initial contact to passing my test I could not have been happier with the high level of service I received. Aoife and all the staff working in their Ballybane Office were approachable, informative and very knowledgeable about all aspects of Driving / Driving Tests and timescales involved. Dezzie was my Driving Instructor and he displayed all of the aforementioned traits and more. He is also very good at catering for each persons desired method of learning as well as simply being “sound as a pound”. I have nothing but the highest regard for all the staff at Advance Drive and can confidently recommend them to anyone looking to get any kind of Driving Licence. The best way to describe these guys is top class in there profession! With Philip as my instructor, I had never even been in a truck until my first lesson, and after few lessons with him I passed my test first time! I would highly recommend anyone looking to get there licence for whatever vehicle to get in touch with these guys
