This week I passed my Driver CPC case studies and minibus driving test with advance drive. A special thanks to owner Philip and staff Ronald,Gerry, Emma and Aoife who are so professional. My instructor was a really special man Dezzie who is the best.....Dezzie you are the man! Looking back now that all this is done and dusted I cant believe how nervous I was but Dezzie stuck with me and rather than giving up he kept me going and going. I would highly recommend Advance Drive to anyone wishing to do their driving test. I passed my C test in order to drive my horse lorry first time (in the pouring rain!). Teaching is comprehensive and prepares you to the last for the test, many thanks Philip. Very well organised service with SMS reminders of appointments and clear communication on all aspects of learning.

An excellent experience throughout, from Aoife in the front office, keeping taps on the paperwork to Noel on the driving lessons and Ronnie with the CPC Modules, every staff member was professional, knowledgeable and dealt with every complication with ease. The instructors have decades worth of real world experience which often added that invaluable extra level of knowledge that the text books just don’t contain.

Recently passed my rigid truck course on first go. From the girls in the office to my instructor Martin, I found them extremely helpful and the whole process was smooth and worry free. Today i passed the Bus test on my first attempt.I also passed the Artic on my first attempt too with Advance. I would like to thank all the Management and Staff for their help and advice over the last few weeks. They have always been very helpful, professional and patient in their approach with students like myself. The 2 girls at front of house were always very helpful with any problem that had to be sloved. A big thanks to Noel for the Artic and to Mike for the Bus. I think that Mike has trained everyone that drives a bus or truck around Galway as everyone in a bus or truck waves at him every time. It felt like I was driving Michael D around waving at everyone. A great experience and one that I wont forget. What a brilliant company with wonderful personnel and I would like to wish them all the best in the future.

From my initial contact to passing my test I could not have been happier with the high level of service I received. Aoife and all the staff working in their Ballybane Office were approachable, informative and very knowledgeable about all aspects of Driving / Driving Tests and timescales involved.
Dezzie was my Driving Instructor and he displayed all of the aforementioned traits and more. He is also very good at catering for each persons desired method of learning as well as simply being “sound as a pound”.

My driving lessons were disrupted by the recent health crisis, but once I joined up with Advance Drive and my instructor Martin, I flew through my remaining EDT's. Martin was a fantastic instructor and made me feel very comfortable getting back to driving as I was quite nervous. After a few lessons with him, my confidence grew leaps and bounds and with just three extra lessons after the essential ones, I passed my test the first time! Brilliant experience with Advance Drive who helped me pass my category D licence. My driving instructor Mike was fantastic, he showed me the ropes behind the wheel of a bus and what to look out for. I just completed a 10 week GRETB bus drivers course. The course was managed and run by Advance Drive Galway . The course included ten two hour lessons. CPC training,first aid responders course and lifting and manual handling course. Advance Drive are a very professional organisation. There staff and management were very friendly, supportive and efficient in everything they did. My instructor for the 10 weeks was Vincent Jennings. He was an excellent tutor with great patience. He really prepared me for my test, which I passed on my first attempt. I would highly recommend Advance Drive for anyone considering bus driving as a profession.

I'm euphoric, I passed the C Truck Licence which now allows us to head off into the sunset in our gorgeous huge camper van.
Under Noel's tuition from Advance Drive every minute of every hour was spent learning and correcting and improving and more learning until we reached our goal.
In my opinion Noel has the perfect balance - he brought a joyous ambience to the cab with his lovely lighthearted demeanour.
He instilled a confidence in me and I always left the driving session feeling chuffed.

A great experience overall doing lessons with advance drive, from booking and scheduling lessons with the ever helpful Aoife in the office to the lessons themselves with the instructor (shane)
He was a great help in preparing me for the test and was always able to answer any questions regarding the test itself. When it came to the test I knew every route likely to be tested on and was confident of passing from the get go.
