I was taken through all the requisite skills in great detail, i.e clutch control, observation and road positioning etc, such that I passed the test without any problems and felt no nerves on the day. I recently passed my BE trailer test. Coming as a complete beginner, Martin and the Advance Drive staff, were so accommodating when it came to lesson times, and booking the vehicle for the test, to passing my test first time! Completing the 7 hour course ensured a smooth, stress-free experience making sure I was prepared going into the test centre. Just got my C licence first try . Couldn’t say enough about Advance Drive and their whole team .Excellent people and very informative and friendly. I had Dessie for my lessons and he was great. I never drove a truck before. He put me at ease and was really easy to listen too.got his points and information across very well and were easy to put in to practice .Top class instructor. I'm euphoric, I passed the C Truck Licence which now allows us to head off into the sunset in our gorgeous huge camper van. Under Noel's tuition from Advance Drive every minute of every hour was spent learning and correcting and improving and more learning until we reached our goal. In my opinion Noel has the perfect balance - he brought a joyous ambience to the cab with his lovely lighthearted demeanour. I had Pat as my driving instructor and passed my test on the 2nd time of asking. Pat is a wonderful teacher, very calm, patient and understanding, he gave great advice on learning to drive and how to pass my test. Every person at Advance Drive are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole experience ofobtaining my license as easy and pleasant as possible. Very helpful every step of the way.
