I passed my Bus test yesterday and I have to thank my instructor Dezzie for his professional approach in dealing with my lessons and the office staff in Advance Drive so thanks and highly recommended.

Had a flawless experience with Advance Drive. The entire team were very friendly and approachable from the very start. Pat took me under his wing and with lots of patience guided me successfully to passing my bus test. Noel was great on the morning of test too putting me at ease. I passed my Driving test yesterday for the first time, with a clean sheet, and that is 100% a result of Vas, and his classes. He had wonderful teaching methods, that worked. I would definitely recommend him, and the classes at Advance Drive.

I had Declan as an instructor and he was a straightforward and practical shooter. I found the 2 hour format much more effective for developing my driving as there are always car checks and initial jitters starting a session, then the second hour really beds in good driving habit.

Waited all year to begin the Delivery Driver course which ended up being delayed due to Covid. Waited an extra 4 months and it was still worth the wait!
All the staff were exceptional. My instructor, Mark, is the best driving instructor in Galway! I have him to thank for passing my test first go!

I had a great experience with Advance Drive in my training for the 'D' licence. The course was intense and took me a little longer than expected (that's down to me and not the instructor!) but I passed my test first time and the quality of Lee's instruction came through for me. He was very patient and professional and always gave me the encouragement to persevere. I couldn't recommend Lee, Pat and the office team more - thanks lads!!

I'm euphoric, I passed the C Truck Licence which now allows us to head off into the sunset in our gorgeous huge camper van.
Under Noel's tuition from Advance Drive every minute of every hour was spent learning and correcting and improving and more learning until we reached our goal.
In my opinion Noel has the perfect balance - he brought a joyous ambience to the cab with his lovely lighthearted demeanour.
He instilled a confidence in me and I always left the driving session feeling chuffed.

Philip is an absolute genius when it comes to driving and answering questions you ask there is absolutely nothing he doesn\'t know, done 3 tests in a year rigid, coach and artic yesterday 1st oct with nearly a clean sheet only 1 fault due to another very unprofessional bus driver. how good is that for a result driving a truck with a 35ft trailor thanks to the expert tuition from Philip. impossible to fail. why go to an apprentice when you can learn from a professional cheers philip

Advance Drive was a great option to complete my EDT in the way to obtain the Irish driving license.
Very responsive and proffesionals, Emma and Aoife were great in supporting the classes scheduling and booking the car for the day of the test. For me it was very valuable the offered service to book the same car to take the exam.
My instructor Pat was brilliant and patient in guiding me in the introduction to Ireland's driving rules and correcting me some bad driving habits!. He gave me very good tips, that I took, and I am very happy to have passed the driving test today!

The advance drive team are absolutely fantastic and Noel is simply an amazing instructor! I just passed my test for B- car licence and it really is thanks to Noel and the Advance Drive team. A great experience overall doing lessons with advance drive, from booking and scheduling lessons with the ever helpful Aoife in the office to the lessons themselves with the instructor (shane)
He was a great help in preparing me for the test and was always able to answer any questions regarding the test itself. When it came to the test I knew every route likely to be tested on and was confident of passing from the get go.

Dessie subtly gets the point across of the mistakes that you are making without making you feel bad about it. I recently successfully completed my class D driving test. Training was provided by Advance Drive. I was lucky to have been paired with Noel one of the many instructors for the duration of my training. It was an enjoyable experience. Noel was so knowledgeable and he punctuated each lesson with pearls of wisdom and advice. He broke the whole driving process down to make it more readily understandable. All of the staff at Advance Drive were so professional from the very first day. There was a steady stream of emails and text messages to remind you of your driving lessons. Nothing was left to chance during training. Top marks all round to Advance Drive and their staff.

- Instructor: Vas is an excellent instructor, very careful with details; aways show the exact procedures for the exam; point out all the right and wrong maneuvers during the lessons; encourage you and prepare you for the stressful day of the test.

Today i passed the Bus test on my first attempt.I also passed the Artic on my first attempt too with Advance. I would like to thank all the Management and Staff for their help and advice over the last few weeks. They have always been very helpful, professional and patient in their approach with students like myself. The 2 girls at front of house were always very helpful with any problem that had to be sloved. A big thanks to Noel for the Artic and to Mike for the Bus. I think that Mike has trained everyone that drives a bus or truck around Galway as everyone in a bus or truck waves at him every time. It felt like I was driving Michael D around waving at everyone. Can't thank the staff at Advance Drive enough, only for them I wouldn't have my truck licence. I would highly recommend them especially Mike (driving instructor), Trevor Bonner (Forklift instructor) and James Folan (Rules of the Road). Lee done most of my lessons, he's a strict instructor but good, always open to questions. I was fairly nervous on the run up to my driving test but Mike really helped, he gave me a mock test, it eased my nerves. I really enjoyed the HGV course. All the staff are lovely, very approachable and easy to talk to. I'd highly recommend Advance Drive, keep up the good work!

I would highly recommend Advance Drive and in particular my instructor Pat in Galway. I was taken through all the requisite skills in great detail, i.e clutch control, observation and road positioning etc, such that I passed the test without any problems and felt no nerves on the day. I thank my instructor for his expertise and for sharing his knowledge of how to perform in the test on the day. Passed my bus licence first time last week. I had Lee as my instructor and he had me very well prepared for the test. He knows his stuff. I found all of the staff at Advance Drive to be very professional and courteous. Would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Passed my D class bus licence test this week.
I 'm convinced that it was down to the very professional team of people at Advanced Drive in Galway that I did so well in every aspect of the training. The training is both relaxed and very professional in the delivery. You find your self all of a sudden in about week 5 or 6 of the 10 week course having a very good understanding of what is required as a professional bus driver. Even more surprising you will be driving a D class Bus around Galway and Oranmore like it was your daily drive. That really impressed me!

Passed my c license on my first try today. I passed my Car test first time with ADVANCE DRIVE on 14/05/2015 . Want to say special thanks to my instructor PHILIP. He is very patient & well trained professional. I highly recommend ADVANCE DRIVE they are absolutely brilliant.

I passed my Cat D License FIRST TIME around with the help of a great team including Vincent on the Driving lessons , Ronald and Gerry on CPC / Health and Safety. The back up in the office from Aoife and Emma is first class with reminder emails and texts to make sure everyone knows what , when and where they are at . Couldn't fault any of the staff .Thankyou everyone. I would highly recommend !
