I had Declan as an instructor and he was a straightforward and practical shooter. I found the 2 hour format much more effective for developing my driving as there are always car checks and initial jitters starting a session, then the second hour really beds in good driving habit.

Passed my D class bus licence test this week. I 'm convinced that it was down to the very professional team of people at Advanced Drive in Galway that I did so well in every aspect of the training. The training is both relaxed and very professional in the delivery. You find your self all of a sudden in about week 5 or 6 of the 10 week course having a very good understanding of what is required as a professional bus driver. Finally passed my driving test yesterday. Could not recommend Advance Drive enough, my instructor Vas was incredibly patient and could always tell me exactly where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. He was so terrific and professional and told me exactly what I needed to do to get my license. Driving did not come naturally to me at all and I had absolutely no experience driving a car before starting lessons. Even so, I always felt comfortable and never worried that getting my license was unachievable, as the lessons were really tailored to what I needed. He had so much patience with me and never did I feel under massive pressure. He really helped me get to grips with areas I was having great dfficulty with. I was lucky to have been paired with Noel one of the many instructors for the duration of my training. It was an enjoyable experience. First of all, thanks to all the staff at Advance Drive for helping me pass my driving test. A special thanks to Flan for giving me all my lessons before the test and on the day of the test. With his help I was well prepared for the test and confident that I would pass as he had every aspect of the test well covered. Thank you all.

Delighted to be out the either side of the D1 licence. Dessie and Lee were brilliant instructors. Felt confidently guided to the finish line. Thanks to all the team for enabling the bigger picture. Lots of learning along the way.
