As a Coach Tour/Trip Driver for Contiki you’re in charge of getting our travellers safely around Europe, it’s a huge responsibility, but it’s a great way to meet loads of people. It’s also the perfect way to work while travelling around Europe! Our Trip Drivers are the best in the business and we ensure their success by providing thorough on road training.

In order to secure a place on a Contiki Training Trip you need to demonstrate the following:

Hold a UK or European Union Passport
(Sorry, other permits and visas are not sufficient)
Hold a clean Manual or Automatic coach licence (PCV or category D)
Hold the relevant CPC qualification
Have good references and driving record
Possess excellent people skills
Be English speaking
Must work well as part of a team
Have a genuine desire to succeed.

This position is based in London, although you will be travelling around Europe for the vast majority of the summer season. Therefore there is no need to worry about having to relocate.

We may also have limited positions available to be based in Italy for the full summer season.

    (17/04/14) Looked at a number of other driving schools before choosing Advance Drive. I'm glad I went with my 'gut instinct' & chose this one. Philip did a great job of teaching me.     I passed my driving test (car) first time. I can not thank Advance Driving enough , i started my lessons with corey , and i finished my lessons with Declan. I highly recommend Declan as a driving instructor. Declan will always encourage you and support you along the way. He will make your driving experience enjoyable. Dont worry about making mistakes ,Declan is very experienced and highly skilled, you are in safe hands. Great tip : Do a lesson before the test or do a pretest or both, it helped me hugely. I had Vincent as my instructor and he is excellent would highly recommend him for anyone thinking off getting the bus or truck licence. The staff are very helpful from start to finish from meeting Phillip when you first join to Emma and Aoife and Lee who are always there to help with any questions you need answered. Ronald took us for cpc training and has years of experience and makes it easy to learn. Cant recommend Advance Drive highly enough.

He was calm, patient, very friendly and has consistently provided constructive feedback that enabled me to correct mistakes without feeling discouraged. The advice I received will serve me throughout my driving career and beyond. Thanks to him, I passed my exam on the first attempt today! Couldn't recommend Colm enough, I wish everyone an instructor like him!!

    I passed my Artic test (CE Category) on first attempt this week. My main instructor Noel and partly Dezzie were very knowledgeable, calm and understanding. The staff in the office do an amazing job of putting everything in place for the whole team, mainly Aoife is a star at what she does. Overall, thank you so much the whole team at Advance Drive. I highly recommend you to anyone looking for a professional service provider.
