I have experience of working as a mechanic in Castlegar, in that position as well as maintaining and servicing large vans, I drove and road tested them.
I have completed a Advance Drive/GRETB HGV-Artic Course where I undertook 20h of driving a artic truck. This course allowed me to complete and pass my full C+E category driving licence.
I have completed a Swilly Group/GRETB Heavy Goods Vehicle Course where I undertook twenty hours of driving a rigid truck. This training allowed me to complete and pass my full C category driving test. The course also allowed me to receive ADR certification in Packages and Tankers, Manual Handling and Forklift Training (Reach & Counterbalance& Pallet Truck).
I am trustworthy, honest, reliable and a good timekeeper and not afraid of a challenge, a good team player, able to work on my own initiative. I am mobile and willing to work regular hours, weekends and nights.

A great experience overall doing lessons with advance drive, from booking and scheduling lessons with the ever helpful Aoife in the office to the lessons themselves with the instructor (shane) He was a great help in preparing me for the test and was always able to answer any questions regarding the test itself. When it came to the test I knew every route likely to be tested on and was confident of passing from the get go. Would highly recommend advance drive for anyone looking to get the C1 license

Advance drive team very Professional team When I meet this team first I had nothing only only car licence and now have bus and rigid lorry licence all thanks to Advance team Where I do I start I first met Philip and Ailbhe in Althlone when I went for my bus licence very Professional at the job . I went for my Rigid Lorry license went to galway to do it I met rest of the team very Professional staff Aoife and Emma are on front desk when walk in door u are Greeted with a smile All driving Instructor very professional. Their is no mark to grade the advance drive team very Professional and always go above the job to make fell comfortable to get your licence.

Just completed my rigid truck test with Advance Drive this week and what a great experience I had not just passing the test but the learning experiences I got , I wish to thank all the staff at advance drive from the office staff to the instructors ,all of you have to be commended on your professionalism and your approach to teaching , learning and instructing at Advanced Drive.I have to say a big thank you to my right hand man even though he was sitting on the left hand side ,PJ Dunne.I can only describe his instruction as exceptional,a true gent that makes you feel confident in driving .along with all at advanced drive there is an overall infectious enthusiasm for learning and I thank you for that. Just passed my driving test. Could not have done it without the help and support of Advance Drive. My instructor, Adam, was fantastic. He had so much patience with me and never did I feel under massive pressure. He really helped me get to grips with areas I was having great dfficulty with. He had faith in me when I didn't and that meant the world to me. Also helped bring my stress levels down so a massive thank you to Adam. The people in the office were always exceptionally kind and friendly to me and for that I say thank you so much. Really appreciated. Overall I really enjoyed working with Advance Drive. Would recommend them to anyone who would like to learn to drive.

I want to say a massive thank you to the Advance Drive team, especially Martin and Aoife. Firstly, every time I contacted advance drive I was greeted by Aoife who went over and beyond to help as much she could in regards to lessons, booking me in, changing slots and replying to emails. However, I owe a huge thanks to Martin, my instructor for all my 22 lessons! From start to finish he gave it his all, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. He made sure I was all set for my test, which meant first go I passed with flying colours! I highly recommend him, and advance drive overall, and wish them the very best.

After weeks of preparation and hard work, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve passed my bus driving licence exam! The journey wasn’t always easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. I want to thank my instructor (Noel) for their patience and guidance throughout the training process. He is not only taught me the technical skills needed but also instilled confidence in my abilities to handle a bus safely and responsibly. The testing process was thorough and fair, challenging me to showcase all the skills and knowledge I’d gained. Passing this milestone feels like a major achievement, and I’m excited to begin a new chapter in my career as a licensed bus driver. I would highly recommend Advance Drive and in particular my instructor Pat in Galway. I was taken through all the requisite skills in great detail, i.e clutch control, observation and road positioning etc, such that I passed the test without any problems and felt no nerves on the day. I thank my instructor for his expertise and for sharing his knowledge of how to perform in the test on the day. His instruction really matched all the requirements of the test and made the experience much easier, as well as successful. Highly recommended.

Mid 40s and passed my test first time, now I can drive my 9mth old baby myself. Thanks to Martin teaching me while I was heavily pregnant and after I had the baby, his infinite patience and tolerance kept me going. I would like to say a big thank you to all at Advance Drive for helping me pass my class C driving test. Always professional and courteous. For all you aspiring truck and bus drivers out there I would definitely recommend Advance Drive so mush so I can't wait to do my artic training with them as soon as I get my provisional license. i cant say enough good things about advance drive all there staff are excellent i now have my rigid and artic licence and 3 types of fork lifts and safe pass and all instructors were top class they have a no nonsense approach they push you when needed for your own good to get you as good as possible for your test aoife is excellent at her job. , friendly and knows all the info you need straight off vincent was my instructor for the rigid and got me through first time tops class dessie was my instructor for the artic he doesnt miss a thing but thats good he got me trough first time deserves a medal thanks to gerry and philip for all the guidance and putting me on the right path this company is not all about talking money of you its about you getting through the test and i felt this from the first phone call many thanks to all involved best regards regis golding
