Passed my driving test yesterday thanks to Vas my driving instructor, Vas is very good at explaining how to drive a car and knows all the routes for the test very well. I highly recommend Advance Drive for lessons. The staff in the office are very nice and very professional on the phone.

I did my D licence with Advance Drive before Christmas. Dessie was my instructor and I found him to be very experienced, patient and professional. Dessie subtly gets the point across of the mistakes that you are making without making you feel bad about it. He recommended that I do 2 extra lessons, the benefit of which was very noticeable and I may not have passed first time without them. Many thanks to Dessie and all at Advance Drive.

Just completed and passed my D licence with advance drive. I had vincent as my instructor. From the get go the service he put you at ease and explained everything in full. Made you laugh and made the lessons and enjoyable experience. Fun to one side. He was extremely informative and professional i was left with no doubt i was going to pass. I received my bus Driving lessons from Vincent Jennings, Vincent is an excellent instructor with a lot of experience,
He has a great ability to inform his student of what to do, and how to do it, while keeping the student relaxed.
Vincent will concentrate on a students mistakes/errors, and will make the corrections.
I highly recommend Vincent.

I went to Advance Drive for mini bus lessons and thankfully passed my test last Tuesday.
I got held up on taking my test as Covid just came in when I had started with the lessons. I found Mike in the earlier lessons I took to be very good & helpfull and in the last few lessons I took with Gerry Burke I found him also very good & helpfull.
I would strongly recommend them both if you want to sign up with Advance Drive.
Aoife on reception is most helpfull in scheduling your lessons.

I was a bit nervous about the driving and the test preparation, but they were very patient. They encouraged and prepared me so well that I passed my test the first time.

I just passed my artic test today 25/03/24... the two instructors Noel and Dessie that were preparing me for my test with lessons were 100%... I cannot fault either instructor... the course was well ran and organised and would highly recommend to anyone seeking there artic licence

(17/04/14) Looked at a number of other driving schools before choosing Advance Drive. I'm glad I went with my 'gut instinct' & chose this one. Philip did a great job of teaching me. I felt relaxed with him & learnt something at every lesson. He's patient, very astute (misses nothing!) a good communicator and great instructor. Managed to pass my driving test first time. You can't go wrong with Choosing Advance Drive The entire Team are so helpful and will do their best to get you where you need to go.
I recently passed my Artic Licence first go and it's all thanks to Noel my instructor he is incredibly patent and will explain everything in great detail and knows excatly how to guide ya through the process and he is also great craic most fun I had while learning also he has a great way of making it feel so chill and relax.

Philip is an absolute genius when it comes to driving and answering questions you ask there is absolutely nothing he doesn\'t know, done 3 tests in a year rigid, coach and artic yesterday 1st oct with nearly a clean sheet only 1 fault due to another very unprofessional bus driver. how good is that for a result driving a truck with a 35ft trailor thanks to the expert tuition from Philip. impossible to fail. why go to an apprentice when you can learn from a professional cheers philip

Pat was fantastic, very patient and helpful, passed my test first time with absolutely no faults and examiner was so impressed with me he asked who I did my driving lessons with. Couldn’t recommend Pat more for anyone looking for driving lessons.

I’d like to say many thanks to Declan, Aoife and Carla of Advance Drive Galway. What I’ve noticed from Declan’s teachings is that he is incredibly patient and he helps you understand exactly what you’re doing incorrectly in a calm and understanding manner during the EDT and extended lessons prior to my driving test. I highly advise newcomer learner drivers to select Declan as their driving instructor.

Hey just want to say I would highly recommend Advance Drive.I passed my car test for the first time on 15/11/2013. Dezzie was my instructor and he was brilliant, the main reason that I passed.
