Whilst I have a driving license in another country, he made it very easy to understand the differences between the road rules and knew exactly what I would struggle with. Fantastic with the rules of the road, reading the road, correct road position and so on. I was Delighted to pass my Category D Bus test on my first attempt yesterday Thanks to all the guys at Advance Drive, they are a very professional set up and I couldn’t recommend them enough .
I have to give a special mention to Gerry who was my instructor, Gerry is a professional who knows his job inside out and gives great confidence and self belief, he is also good fun and gives a relaxed feel to the whole experience, I think I will be hearing “Mind that tail swing and mirror mirror” in my sleep for the next ten years!
Thanks also to Aoife, Alilbhe and Emma in the office who were always very helpful when I was looking for any information.
Overall I would highly recommend Advance Drive to anyone wishing to learn to drive or add a new category to their license.

I am really happy for passing my driving test. Of course i would not have a change passing without Martin my instructor. A massive thanks for this man. I never drove in my life and also never had experience in driving at all until I started my lessons at Advance Drive School. I remember how bad i was with my driving skills. I was scared and afraid of driving too. But Martin supported me from the start and gave his best to help me to improve my skills and my confidence. During my lessons i could learn so much and practice a lot. Every 2 hour lessons helped me to build my confidence and fix all my mistakes. I just wanted to say big thanks for Martin and for the whole team at the office. You all deserve the best, because you take care of us so well. Honestly, Advance Drive is a high level top school.

I had Martin for my Rigid Truck lessons. He was calm and explained everything in a easy to understand manner. Some bad habits I had brought from driving were quickly pinpointed and fixed with some advice. He put me at ease from lesson 1 and his feedback after lessons was a great help. I am delighted to have passed my D bus test on the first attempt. I was lucky enough to have 2 different instructors - Noel and Gerry. I feel both instructors had a different style of teaching and I definitely learned different things from each of them. They were both very thorough in making sure I was ready for the test and confident in the test procedure.
The office staff are exceptional. They are accommodating and considerate. They know their job and they were great to call me and offer me an extra lesson before my test, when a slot became available.
Before passing my test, I was already recommending Advance Drive to people who have asked me about getting a bus license.

I recently received tuition for my category D-D1 Bus test with Advance Drive.It was the first time i used this driving school and also the first time i passed a vehicle category test,first time.Excellent,patient tuition delivered in a proffessional manner.I was lucky enough to get a job two weeks after.I would highly recommend Advance,thanks Philip.

I got my rigid licence with Martin first go and couldn't be happier.
Kept on my toes but also in the present moment where cool heads prevail.
Made sure I was ready to pass and I did so thanks for that Martin you're a legend!
As is the Advance Drive team with Aoife and Ailbhe who really kept things ticking along with great communication so you always know what's happening and when. Thank you you're the best!

Passed the bus test today thanks to the professionalism of the Advance Drive instructors, Pat for the first 5 lessons and Lee for the final lesson and his tips just before the test. Your help is greatly appreciated and would recommend Advance Drive to anyone looking for lessons.
