Iād like to say many thanks to Declan, Aoife and Carla of Advance Drive Galway. What Iāve noticed from Declanās teachings is that he is incredibly patient and he helps you understand exactly what youāre doing incorrectly in a calm and understanding manner during the EDT and extended lessons prior to my driving test. I highly advise newcomer learner drivers to select Declan as their driving instructor.

My driving lessons were disrupted by the recent health crisis, but once I joined up with Advance Drive and my instructor Martin, I flew through my remaining EDT's. Martin was a fantastic instructor and made me feel very comfortable getting back to driving as I was quite nervous. After a few lessons with him, my confidence grew leaps and bounds and with just three extra lessons after the essential ones, I passed my test the first time! I would highly recommend Martin and Advance Drive to anyone no matter where you are on your driving journey. Thanks so much Martin, couldn't have done it without you!!

I would thoroughly recommend Advance Drive if you need to aquire a D bus license. I felt confident going into the test as Philip gave me good preparation and always managed to spot my faults. Driving around Galway by the sea was a pleasure much better than other locations I can think of. A great experience from a very good company.

I went to Advance Drive for mini bus lessons and thankfully passed my test last Tuesday.
I got held up on taking my test as Covid just came in when I had started with the lessons. I found Mike in the earlier lessons I took to be very good & helpfull and in the last few lessons I took with Gerry Burke I found him also very good & helpfull.
I would strongly recommend them both if you want to sign up with Advance Drive.
Aoife on reception is most helpfull in scheduling your lessons.

Advance Drive are fantastic! I passed my C1 category test first time and I could not have done it without my instructor Martin. He was very helpful and had great patience with me. Martin answered any questions I had and kept me motivated to pass. Aoife was always so lovely and helpful when it came to booking my lessons and my test. He is a very good teacher. I have changed many different driving instructors. I can say, that Declan always gives a very good examples from everyday life . Finally passed my driving test yesterday. Could not recommend Advance Drive enough, my instructor Vas was incredibly patient and could always tell me exactly where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. He was so terrific and professional and told me exactly what I needed to do to get my license. Driving did not come naturally to me at all and I had absolutely no experience driving a car before starting lessons. Even so, I always felt comfortable and never worried that getting my license was unachievable, as the lessons were really tailored to what I needed. The Advance Drive team weāre always lovely to deal with if I ever had to call them for anything. Definitely will be recommending

I had a great experience with Advance Drive in my training for the 'D' licence. The course was intense and took me a little longer than expected (that's down to me and not the instructor!) but I passed my test first time and the quality of Lee's instruction came through for me. Hi All, I just want to thank Dezzie and all the team at Advance Drive for helping me pass my Class B driving test last Monday in Westside Galway. Overall, I did 17 lessons with Dezzie in the Ford Fiesta and I found him to be extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable at all times, and I can definitely say that he has the patience of a saint. As such, I can't recommend Advance Drive enough and I know that I would not have passed my driving test first time round without Dezzie's expert help. Thanks a million Dezzie.

A great experience overall doing lessons with advance drive, from booking and scheduling lessons with the ever helpful Aoife in the office to the lessons themselves with the instructor (shane)
He was a great help in preparing me for the test and was always able to answer any questions regarding the test itself. When it came to the test I knew every route likely to be tested on and was confident of passing from the get go.

Firstly, every time I contacted advance drive I was greeted by Aoife who went over and beyond to help as much she could in regards to lessons, booking me in, changing slots and replying to emails.

I would definitely recommend driving lessons with advance drive. My instructor Vas was very clear, calm and patient. He gave me great confidence and tips that I was able to recall in my head while taking my test. He also recommended that I take a mock test and I am so glad he did as i was then able to perfect areas that I needed to in order to pass my test.

Passed my C test first time, thanks to both Anton and Lee who helped me prepare. I was confident going into test thanks to Anton pre test lesson to calm the nerves! Big thanks again to advance for all their help in getting me my truck license. Noel Dezzie and Aoife were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly professional team very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Vehicles were kept to a very high standard and a pleasure to drive.
