I passed my rigid truck (C) license at the first attempt yesterday, delighted! I did most of my lessons with Dezzie and one lesson with Mike. There were a few bumps along the road - took me a year from start to finish because my work interfered with booking and scheduling lessons - but Advance Drive as a company left me with the feeling that they care about each and every one of their students. They gave individual attention to me, and I am sure every student who chooses to train with them. Each person gets the education, practice, information and personal attention that they as an individual need. Now I feel like a competent and confident driver. I recommend this school. I want to thank particularly Dezzie for doing most of my lessons, your training style made everything feel very natural and easy and clear and I wish to thank everyone else who had a hand in my success: Mike, Phillip, and Aoife for all your help as a team to get me through at first attempt.

I would highly recommend Advance Drive and in particular my instructor Pat in Galway. I was taken through all the requisite skills in great detail, i.e clutch control, observation and road positioning etc, such that I passed the test without any problems and felt no nerves on the day. I cannot reccomend Advance Drive enough for new drivers! After failing the test three times with other instructors I had lost all confidence in my driving abilities. And became a very nervous driver. I then went to Advance Drive where Noel became my new instructor. Noel changed my whole perspective on driving and the nerves went away. He's so patient and understanding and I found the lessons to be fun and enjoyable in comparison to other driving schools in Galway. 10/10 for Noel & Advanced drive, could not reccomend enough! Definitely the reason for me passing my test!

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone involved in Advance Drive for their continued support and guidance through the Bus Driving D course which I have just completed and was successfull in passing my bus driving test.From Emma & Aoife on the phone as well as in the office who were very curtious and accompanying with everything, Gerry & Philip for their words of encouragement, Ronald for the online classes explained everything to detail and ensured we knew everything we needed to know about the Bus, Evelyn for giving me a better understanding about how to present a CV and a Cover letter, The First aid Course which was of great benefit, Lee who is an outstanding instructor, THANK YOU for your encouragement and believe in me from day one, i would also like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Patricia in gretb for her continued support over the past few years in getting me over the line eventually, absolutely delighted I got the opportunity to take part in this course and I wish you all the very best for the future 😀 you are a great team

I am delighted to have passed my D bus test on the first attempt. I was lucky enough to have 2 different instructors - Noel and Gerry. I feel both instructors had a different style of teaching and I definitely learned different things from each of them. They were both very thorough in making sure I was ready for the test and confident in the test procedure. The office staff are exceptional. They are accommodating and considerate. They know their job and they were great to call me and offer me an extra lesson before my test, when a slot became available. Before passing my test, I was already recommending Advance Drive to people who have asked me about getting a bus license.
