I want to say a massive thank you to the Advance Drive team, especially Martin and Aoife.
Firstly, every time I contacted advance drive I was greeted by Aoife who went over and beyond to help as much she could in regards to lessons, booking me in, changing slots and replying to emails.
However, I owe a huge thanks to Martin, my instructor for all my 22 lessons! From start to finish he gave it his all, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. He made sure I was all set for my test, which meant first go I passed with flying colours! I highly recommend him, and advance drive overall, and wish them the very best.

Thanks a million to all at Advance. I've just completed a hat-trick of Rigid, Bus and Artic tests and it's all thanks to your team. I've learned a lot, made new friends and had great craic in 2024 thanks to Advance - and not forgetting Patricia and all at GRETB. Everyone involved was professional and courteous but more importantly, very helpful and supportive. The instructors all had great patience and skill - and above all, a sense of humour (and they certainly needed that at times!). And the back-room team were always a pleasure to deal with - very efficient.
Phillip and Ailbhe, ye have a great team there - keep doing what ye're doing. And put me on the waiting list for next year's Sikorsky 101 course - although I'm dreading the hill-start!

Could not Recommend higher!
Waited all year to begin the Delivery Driver course which ended up being delayed due to Covid. Waited an extra 4 months and it was still worth the wait!
All the staff were exceptional. My instructor, Mark, is the best driving instructor in Galway! I have him to thank for passing my test first go!

I cannot reccomend Advance Drive enough for new drivers!
After failing the test three times with other instructors I had lost all confidence in my driving abilities. And became a very nervous driver.
I then went to Advance Drive where Noel became my new instructor.
Noel changed my whole perspective on driving and the nerves went away. He's so patient and understanding and I found the lessons to be fun and enjoyable in comparison to other driving schools in Galway.
10/10 for Noel & Advanced drive, could not reccomend enough! Definitely the reason for me passing my test!

I highly recommend Declan as a driving instructor. Declan will always encourage you and support you along the way. He will make your driving experience enjoyable. Dont worry about making mistakes ,Declan is very experienced and highly skilled, you are in safe hands. Great tip : Do a lesson before the test or do a pretest or both, it helped me hugely. Never drove a Category D vehicle before 2023. Six lessons later I passed the test. So, many thanks to PJ & Noel, along with the the inhouse team. Now it is up to me to hone the skills I've learned and continue to improve day by day.

I passed my car driving test last week, I booked to few last minute lessons with advance Drive and if it wasn't for my instructor I really don't think I would have passed! The instructor was so patient and gave me so many good tips to help me drive better! I'd highly recommend taking lessons here!

I would like to say a big thank you to all at Advance Drive for helping me pass my class C driving test. Always professional and courteous. For all you aspiring truck and bus drivers out there I would definitely recommend Advance Drive so mush so I can't wait to do my artic training with them as soon as I get my provisional license. And finally a big thank you to my instructor Dezzie who's cool and professional manner during my lessons helped to put me at ease, fair play to him he only had to step on that emergency break a few times, again a big thank you to all, stay safe and hopefully see you soon for the next stage.

Brilliant service from the girls in office Emma and Aoife to instructors very professional set up. Instructors Anton and Noel were very knowledgeable and easily explained the process of testing. Thanks to them i passed my Category C rigid first time. A brilliant service from start to finish.

I had Martin for my Rigid Truck lessons. He was calm and explained everything in a easy to understand manner. Some bad habits I had brought from driving were quickly pinpointed and fixed with some advice. He put me at ease from lesson 1 and his feedback after lessons was a great help. I've gained new driving strategies and techniques, driving with discipline that helps you to be a safe driver on the road in different traffic conditions.
