I highly recommend Advance Drive for their professional service. Having never driven a large vehicle before, from day one my bus driving training with Mike was excellent! Initial nerves were soon put to rest and I felt at ease with his guidance and his great wealth of experience as we progressed with the driving training program and preparations for the CPC. Finally passed my driving test yesterday. Could not recommend Advance Drive enough, my instructor Vas was incredibly patient and could always tell me exactly where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. He was so terrific and professional and told me exactly what I needed to do to get my license. Driving did not come naturally to me at all and I had absolutely no experience driving a car before starting lessons. Even so, I always felt comfortable and never worried that getting my license was unachievable, as the lessons were really tailored to what I needed. The Advance Drive team we’re always lovely to deal with if I ever had to call them for anything. Definitely will be recommending

I just passed my test 2 days ago and it is all thanks to Vas. He is so patient and kind and makes sure you know everything before your test. Understandably, I was getting a bit nervous before my test and Vas calmed me down and told me I know everything and to just relax. I HIGHLY recommend Vas as a driving instructor.

I am delighted to have passed my D bus test on the first attempt. I was lucky enough to have 2 different instructors - Noel and Gerry. I feel both instructors had a different style of teaching and I definitely learned different things from each of them. They were both very thorough in making sure I was ready for the test and confident in the test procedure.
The office staff are exceptional. They are accommodating and considerate. They know their job and they were great to call me and offer me an extra lesson before my test, when a slot became available.
Before passing my test, I was already recommending Advance Drive to people who have asked me about getting a bus license.

(17/04/14) Looked at a number of other driving schools before choosing Advance Drive. I'm glad I went with my 'gut instinct' & chose this one. Philip did a great job of teaching me. Great company to deal with from start to finish! Office staff is friendly and easy to work with. I took lessons for car driving. My instructor was Declan. Declan was clear and easy to understand. He was most patient during my transition of many years of driving in the U.S. to Irish driving. Can't say enough great things about Declan and the whole team.

I just passed my Category D (Bus) with Advance Drive. Lee was excellent with providing me with enough knowledge needed to be a safe and competent road user (the very skills needed to pass the driving test). By test day, I could see my confidence soaring comparing the first day I got behind the wheel.
I can honestly say I never went into a driving test as comfortable, relaxed and confident as I did today, all thanks to Lee's professionalism and experience.

Firstly, every time I contacted advance drive I was greeted by Aoife who went over and beyond to help as much she could in regards to lessons, booking me in, changing slots and replying to emails.
However, I owe a huge thanks to Martin, my instructor for all my 22 lessons! From start to finish he gave it his all, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. He made sure I was all set for my test, which meant first go I passed with flying colours! I highly recommend him, and advance drive overall, and wish them the very best.

I went to Advanced drive after they were recommended by a friend. I have now passed 2 tests with them (bus and truck) and can't praise them enough. Phillip and Mike are both very patient and encouraging during the learning process. During each pre-test lesson they re-assured me and gave me ways to deal with the test nerves. I went to Advance Drive for mini bus lessons and thankfully passed my test last Tuesday.
I got held up on taking my test as Covid just came in when I had started with the lessons. I found Mike in the earlier lessons I took to be very good & helpfull and in the last few lessons I took with Gerry Burke I found him also very good & helpfull.
I would strongly recommend them both if you want to sign up with Advance Drive.
Aoife on reception is most helpfull in scheduling your lessons.

I cannot stress enough on how useful the EDTs as well as practice sessions have been for me.
Simon and Brian gave very insightful feedback. The last few sessions with Flan were extremely helpful and he took great pain in helping me with the GMIT roundabout as well as with the reverse around the corner.
The office staff is brilliant in handling all the requests, cancellations and rescheduling of the sessions.
The entire team is highly professional and supportive.

I passed my driving test first time with the help of Vas who is an excellent instructor. He is very calm and encouraging! Perfect instructor for a nervous driver! Couldn't reccomend him enough! He goes above and beyond to facilitate his students!

I have passed my first driving test today's morning with clearsheet (which means no mistake observed). i have done my lessons with Mr. Martin in galway (westsite route), he have great coaching skills. he is a great teacher with lots of experience. I was delighted to have Mr. Martin as my driving instructor, i really wanna say thanks to Mr. martin for helping me in passing my test (first time).
I would really recommend advance drive for learning.

I have just completed the 10 week category D driver training course with Advance Drive. I would highly recommend the company and the course to anyone. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and very professional.
Everything is cover from, First Aid Responder, Manual handling, Case studies and CPC practical training along with the driving test itself.
My instructor "Mike" is a pure gentleman and has the patience of a Saint he made me feel at ease right from the start. As a transgender woman I'm always ony guard but it absolutely was not an issue from the get go.
I will highly recommend Advance Drive in Galway to everyone.

Just got my C licence first try .
Couldn’t say enough about Advance Drive and their whole team .Excellent people and very informative and friendly.
I had Dessie for my lessons and he was great.
I never drove a truck before.
He put me at ease and was really easy to listen too.got his points and information across very well and were easy to put in to practice .Top class instructor.
