I passed my rigid truck (C) license at the first attempt yesterday, delighted! I did most of my lessons with Dezzie and one lesson with Mike. There were a few bumps along the road - took me a year from start to finish because my work interfered with booking and scheduling lessons - but Advance Drive as a company left me with the feeling that they care about each and every one of their students. They gave individual attention to me, and I am sure every student who chooses to train with them. Each person gets the education, practice, information and personal attention that they as an individual need. Now I feel like a competent and confident driver. I recommend this school. I want to thank particularly Dezzie for doing most of my lessons, your training style made everything feel very natural and easy and clear and I wish to thank everyone else who had a hand in my success: Mike, Phillip, and Aoife for all your help as a team to get me through at first attempt.

I recently passed my BE trailer test. Coming as a complete beginner, Martin and the Advance Drive staff, were so accommodating when it came to lesson times, and booking the vehicle for the test, to passing my test first time!
Completing the 7 hour course ensured a smooth, stress-free experience making sure I was prepared going into the test centre.

I did both the rigid and artic courses with Advance over the last two years and I couldnāt praise them enough. Found all the staff very helpful and obliging. The instructor that I had for the artic that I just finished with today was Dessie, I found him great and I felt very comfortable and relaxed and Iād recommend him and Advance to anyone going forward.

I would highly recommend Advance Drive and in particular my instructor Pat in Galway. I was taken through all the requisite skills in great detail, i.e clutch control, observation and road positioning etc, such that I passed the test without any problems and felt no nerves on the day. My driving lessons were disrupted by the recent health crisis, but once I joined up with Advance Drive and my instructor Martin, I flew through my remaining EDT's. Martin was a fantastic instructor and made me feel very comfortable getting back to driving as I was quite nervous. After a few lessons with him, my confidence grew leaps and bounds and with just three extra lessons after the essential ones, I passed my test the first time! I would highly recommend Martin and Advance Drive to anyone no matter where you are on your driving journey. Thanks so much Martin, couldn't have done it without you!!

Passed my Jeep and Trailer test with my instructor Noel.
From start to finish Noel was brilliant, clear instructions and very good knowledge of all aspects of driving with a trailer. I would like to thank Noel for all his time and hard work. Also the girls in the office were great and they kept in touch with me during the long wait for my test and always sent timely reminders of upcoming lessons.
I will definitely be using Advance drive when I start my ridget truck license.

Just passed my driving test. Could not have done it without the help and support of Advance Drive. My instructor, Adam, was fantastic. He had so much patience with me and never did I feel under massive pressure. He really helped me get to grips with areas I was having great dfficulty with. I am delighted to have passed my D bus test on the first attempt. I was lucky enough to have 2 different instructors - Noel and Gerry. I feel both instructors had a different style of teaching and I definitely learned different things from each of them. They were both very thorough in making sure I was ready for the test and confident in the test procedure.
The office staff are exceptional. They are accommodating and considerate. They know their job and they were great to call me and offer me an extra lesson before my test, when a slot became available.
Before passing my test, I was already recommending Advance Drive to people who have asked me about getting a bus license.

Finally passed my driving test yesterday. Could not recommend Advance Drive enough, my instructor Vas was incredibly patient and could always tell me exactly where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. He was so terrific and professional and told me exactly what I needed to do to get my license. Driving did not come naturally to me at all and I had absolutely no experience driving a car before starting lessons. Even so, I always felt comfortable and never worried that getting my license was unachievable, as the lessons were really tailored to what I needed. The Advance Drive team weāre always lovely to deal with if I ever had to call them for anything. Definitely will be recommending

I would like to thank and give credit to Advance Driving School for helping me to attain my CPC's and in helping me pass the driving test. What Iāve noticed from Declanās teachings is that he is incredibly patient and he helps you understand exactly what youāre doing incorrectly in a calm and understanding manner during the EDT and extended lessons prior to my driving test. did my C licence with dessie as my instructer cant say enough good about him passed the first time. The staff in advance cant do enough to help u out, even do tere best to help u get work. Would 100% recommened them to any1. Gonna get my 17 year old lessons tere would not go anywere else. Tey r by far the best around for teaching

Just passed my test first time today! Pat was a great instructor, put me at ease from my first lesson and more importantly I went into my test calm and prepared. Big thanks also to all in the office also who helped me book some last minute pre-test lessons. I'll be recommending advance drive to anyone I know who's thinking of applying for the driving test.

I did my D licence with Advance Drive before Christmas. Dessie was my instructor and I found him to be very experienced, patient and professional. Dessie subtly gets the point across of the mistakes that you are making without making you feel bad about it. He recommended that I do 2 extra lessons, the benefit of which was very noticeable and I may not have passed first time without them. Many thanks to Dessie and all at Advance Drive.

Passed my artic test with Advance Drive recently. Really helpful and friendly office staff - very easy to deal with. Dezzie my instructor was excellent - great knowledge of the routes and gave me great guidence. I had Noel for one lesson and found him very good also.
I would highly recommend Advance Drive.

Very easy to deal with from start to finish . The Ladies in the office so helpful . Dezzie my bus instructor was brilliant through the lessons kept very calm helpful . Special thanks to Lee on the day of my test for sharpening up my skills one Last time. Great company would highly recommend :)

Noel was patient and prudent.
He instructed me well. I was low on confidence when it came to driving, but within the first few classes, I was comfortable enough with him to overcome that fear.
I highly recommend him as an instructor because he starts from the basics and covers all the necessary detail to become a good driver.
