The in-house staff at advanced drive are very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help me with any queries I had. Even if they did not have the answer at hand, they made sure to phone me back with the answer. It is a very professional and welcoming environment and despite the course being 3 months, it felt like 3 weeks. My instructor, Gerry Burke was a fantastic instructor. He was friendly, banterful yet firm and professional. We worked on the practical aspects of the bus course rigorously all while smiling and joking, and this ultimately made the test itself a breeze.

I completed my bus licence back in January and rigid licence in May with Advance Drive. I could not be any happier with all of the staff that made it such an easy task in obtaining both licences. Thanks to Lee in helping me get my bus licence, who was so professional in explaining everything in great detail to me (never knew how much you need to look in the mirrors, but I do now) but never made you feel under pressure or nervous. Thanks to Vinny for helping me get my rigid who again made everything feel so easy and yet made me laugh so much. Would highly recommend either of these two lads to teach you in either bus or truck. Massive thanks to Philip and Ailbhe who both were so accommodating in providing both information and guidance anytime it was needed, espically for the CPC theory and practical. (17/04/14) Looked at a number of other driving schools before choosing Advance Drive. I'm glad I went with my 'gut instinct' & chose this one. Philip did a great job of teaching me. I felt relaxed with him & learnt something at every lesson. He's patient, very astute (misses nothing!) a good communicator and great instructor. Managed to pass my driving test first time. I'm 'over the moon!' I would certainly recommend Advance Drive to anyone in the process of choosing a driving school. Thanks to Philip, Ailbhe & all at Advance Drive.

I had Dezzie as my instructor and couldn't be any better... he covered every single point of the driving test!! he made me feel confident and I passed the test!! thank you for everything guys!! 🙏🙌

Just passed my C+E exam thanks to my instructor Dezzie. Thank you for your hard work and patiance during our lessons. I strongly recommend Advance Drive Galway. Thanks to all Very helpfull Staff members and instructors. Kind regards Piotr Kucharski

Passed my BE test first time after lessons with Noel. In space of a few lessons. I went from never having towed a trailer to being confident towing.

I recently passed my bus driving test with Advancedrive, had Dezzie as my instructor . I found him to be very informative and had a easy-going manner , He pointed out my mistakes and helped to correct them . The girls in the office are most helpful, in discussing what you need to do obtain licence/test and planning lessons times .

I made five lessons with Pat and he was great, very helpful, calm, patient, and motivated me to keep trying. It made all the difference for me. Before I met him, all the other instructors were rude on the telephone on the first contact, they were assuming that I was a terrible trainee only because I wanted to change instructors even before they met me personally. Pat treated me differently, with respect and never second-guessed me.  So, thank you very much Advanced Drive and Pat for your support

My driving instructor was dessy who I found to be very knowledgeable and easy going. Dessy was very observant and did not miss a thing which was very beneficial to assisting with getting me ready for my test which I passed with a clean sheet. I got my jeep and trailer licence with Dezzie first go and couldn't be happier. He was very patient with me as I had no experience starting off and made sure I was confident and ready to pass when it came to my test. Service was second to none from start to finish and would like to thank Advance, from the girls in the office, to Dezzie the instructor for everything. I will be recommending ye to anyone going for their licence.

great driving school, I highly recommend Advance drive. I passed my driving test cat C first time. Dezzie was my instructor very well trained and patient .. Thank you guys.. looking forward to do my artic lessons..

Passed my D class bus licence test this week. I 'm convinced that it was down to the very professional team of people at Advanced Drive in Galway that I did so well in every aspect of the training. The training is both relaxed and very professional in the delivery. You find your self all of a sudden in about week 5 or 6 of the 10 week course having a very good understanding of what is required as a professional bus driver. Even more surprising you will be driving a D class Bus around Galway and Oranmore like it was your daily drive. That really impressed me! I would like to say a very warm and grateful thank you to all the talented team at Advance Drive, long may you continue. J Bennis, Bus driver..... If you are considering a career driving or just want to start with your Car licence, do not put it off or worry about your ability. The fantastic team of people at Advance Drive Galway will prepare you and your confidence to succeed what ever you want to achieve. And the very best of good luck to you.
