What a pleasant experience , Noel puts you at ease straight away, his knowledge and experience is second to none! He doesn't get paid half enough and had plenty of patience with me!!!

I would highly recommend Advance Drive to anyone wishing to do their driving test. I passed my C test in order to drive my horse lorry first time (in the pouring rain!). Teaching is comprehensive and prepares you to the last for the test, many thanks Philip. I did my driving lessons with Corey and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Coming from the U.S. I thought I was particularly nervous to drive on Irish roads but Corey was patient and thorough in his driving instruction. I passed my first go around and I definitely owe it to his teaching. 10/10!

Just passed my bus course with advance in conjunction with GRETB. I had Vincent as my instructor and he is excellent would highly recommend him for anyone thinking off getting the bus or truck licence. The staff are very helpful from start to finish from meeting Phillip when you first join to Emma and Aoife and Lee who are always there to help with any questions you need answered. Ronald took us for cpc training and has years of experience and makes it easy to learn.
Cant recommend Advance Drive highly enough.

I passed my truck C test yesterday. I never drove a truck before and did seven lessons with Advance Drive instructor PJ Dunne. PJ’s tuition was 10/10, excellent, extremely professional. He is very personable and puts you at ease. His extensive experience is priceless, and he weighs your capabilities instantly and focuses on your weaknesses. He also drills you on the headline Health and safety and has his easy-to-follow notations to program you in good practice. The test is difficult, I was pushed on every element during the test. The lessons got rid of my years of ‘bad habits’ driving a jeep. During the test, PJ’s advice loud in my head at every junction, tight corner squeezed road due to road works, looking ahead to preempt potential hazards all came together the day of the test. When the examiner spoke to me briefly after the test, she said – ‘You must have been driving a truck for a while.’ That is a testimony to how good Advance Drive is and Instructor PJ Dunne. I highly recommend Advance drive for any of your driving lessons. In house Aoife, who had to account for my few cancellations, is very professional, friendly, and polite. An extremely efficient, professional business. Lessons are essential to pass this test and I highly recommend Advance Drive-An effective team.

My driving lessons were disrupted by the recent health crisis, but once I joined up with Advance Drive and my instructor Martin, I flew through my remaining EDT's. Martin was a fantastic instructor and made me feel very comfortable getting back to driving as I was quite nervous. After a few lessons with him, my confidence grew leaps and bounds and with just three extra lessons after the essential ones, I passed my test the first time! I can't speak highly enough of the team at Advance Drive, I passed the HGV rigid first time with the help of Vincent who was the instructor. He was excellent, very professional, understanding and skillful with the patience of a saint. Philip and Gerry were excellent, they were very helpful and went out of their way to to accomodate me. Finally Aoife, I can only describe Aoife as an absolute little star and a real gem for Advance Drive. I was Delighted to pass my Category D Bus test on my first attempt yesterday Thanks to all the guys at Advance Drive, they are a very professional set up and I couldn’t recommend them enough .
I have to give a special mention to Gerry who was my instructor, Gerry is a professional who knows his job inside out and gives great confidence and self belief, he is also good fun and gives a relaxed feel to the whole experience, I think I will be hearing “Mind that tail swing and mirror mirror” in my sleep for the next ten years!

The in-house staff at advanced drive are very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help me with any queries I had. Even if they did not have the answer at hand, they made sure to phone me back with the answer.
It is a very professional and welcoming environment and despite the course being 3 months, it felt like 3 weeks.
My instructor, Gerry Burke was a fantastic instructor. He was friendly, banterful yet firm and professional.
We worked on the practical aspects of the bus course rigorously all while smiling and joking, and this ultimately made the test itself a breeze.

I just completed a 10 week GRETB bus drivers course. The course was managed and run by Advance Drive Galway . The course included ten two hour lessons. CPC training,first aid responders course and lifting and manual handling course. Advance Drive are a very professional organisation. There staff and management were very friendly, supportive and efficient in everything they did. My instructor for the 10 weeks was Vincent Jennings. He was an excellent tutor with great patience. He really prepared me for my test, which I passed on my first attempt. I would highly recommend Advance Drive for anyone considering bus driving as a profession.

i found advance to be very knowledgable on what it takes to pass test first time as i successfully did, for someone who did not drive on a daily basis, which is a credit to advance as they kept on my toes right up until test day. i would gladly recommend advance drive to anyboy seeking any licence

I would highly recommend Advance Drive. I have passed my test first time around and I couldn’t have done it without the great guidance from Vas, my instructor. Vas was very patient with me starting off and continued this way up until the day of my test. Emma from Advance Drive was also always a pleasure to deal with over the phone.

Passed my driving test yesterday thanks to Vas my driving instructor, Vas is very good at explaining how to drive a car and knows all the routes for the test very well. I highly recommend Advance Drive for lessons. The staff in the office are very nice and very professional on the phone.
