Pat taught me the essential requirements for passing the test, gave me practical feedback during the lessons, and brought me to the exact locations where test took place and alway bringing good vibe and confidence during the lessons and prior to the test. Also, the office people Carla and Aiofe were very supportive in organising the lessons sometimes in a very short notice !

After failing the test twice, I changed companies. I passed today with a clean sheet after lessons with Dezzie. He quickly helped me get rid of any bad habits and made sure I was confident myself before doing the test. I would recommend Dezzie to anyone who is applying for their test.

I would thoroughly recommend Advance Drive if you need to aquire a D bus license. I felt confident going into the test as Philip gave me good preparation and always managed to spot my faults. Driving around Galway by the sea was a pleasure much better than other locations I can think of. A great experience from a very good company.

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Advance Drive, I passed the HGV rigid first time with the help of Vincent who was the instructor. He was excellent, very professional, understanding and skillful with the patience of a saint. Philip and Gerry were excellent, they were very helpful and went out of their way to to accomodate me. Finally Aoife, I can only describe Aoife as an absolute little star and a real gem for Advance Drive. I dealt with Aoife regularly and she was brilliant, extremely polite and courteous and just a real pleasure to deal with. Left no stone unturned to make sure everything was right. I completed my bus licence back in January and rigid licence in May with Advance Drive. I could not be any happier with all of the staff that made it such an easy task in obtaining both licences. Thanks to Lee in helping me get my bus licence, who was so professional in explaining everything in great detail to me (never knew how much you need to look in the mirrors, but I do now) but never made you feel under pressure or nervous. Thanks to Vinny for helping me get my rigid who again made everything feel so easy and yet made me laugh so much. Would highly recommend either of these two lads to teach you in either bus or truck. Massive thanks to Philip and Ailbhe who both were so accommodating in providing both information and guidance anytime it was needed, espically for the CPC theory and practical. Seriously I have greatest respect for all of ye at Advance Drive, keep up the great work and best of luck in the future.

Passed my D class bus licence test this week.
I 'm convinced that it was down to the very professional team of people at Advanced Drive in Galway that I did so well in every aspect of the training. The training is both relaxed and very professional in the delivery. You find your self all of a sudden in about week 5 or 6 of the 10 week course having a very good understanding of what is required as a professional bus driver. Even more surprising you will be driving a D class Bus around Galway and Oranmore like it was your daily drive. That really impressed me!

I was Delighted to pass my Category D Bus test on my first attempt yesterday Thanks to all the guys at Advance Drive, they are a very professional set up and I couldn’t recommend them enough .
I have to give a special mention to Gerry who was my instructor, Gerry is a professional who knows his job inside out and gives great confidence and self belief, he is also good fun and gives a relaxed feel to the whole experience, I think I will be hearing “Mind that tail swing and mirror mirror” in my sleep for the next ten years!
Thanks also to Aoife, Alilbhe and Emma in the office who were always very helpful when I was looking for any information.
Overall I would highly recommend Advance Drive to anyone wishing to learn to drive or add a new category to their license.

I have just completed my "C" Truck Licence and passed on the first attempt, thanks to PJ Dunne who is a phenomenal Truck Driving Instructor: Also I had great support and assistance in preparing for my CPC practical. The structure of the lessons are second to none. I really like the fact that I had a pre test hour before my test on the day, which prepared me well and settled my nerves ! I cant thank PJ enough, and the Advance team, who were extremely accommodating when booking my lessons, which often had to be re-scheduled due to my work load. Firstly, every time I contacted advance drive I was greeted by Aoife who went over and beyond to help as much she could in regards to lessons, booking me in, changing slots and replying to emails.
However, I owe a huge thanks to Martin, my instructor for all my 22 lessons! From start to finish he gave it his all, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. He made sure I was all set for my test, which meant first go I passed with flying colours! I highly recommend him, and advance drive overall, and wish them the very best.

I would definitely recommend driving lessons with advance drive. My instructor Vas was very clear, calm and patient. I was a nervous wreck going into my first lesson but Garry has a gift of making you feel at ease, safe and ultimately a capable confident driver. "What would Garry do" and "GOSHO" will be forever imprinted on my mind!!
